We played this with 5 and it was so fun! Simple, everyone can play. We made the string smaller and in different shapes to increase the challenge. While 5 played, the first 2 got out pretty quickly. It really is better for 3, maybe 4 just because of the number of magnets.

got this for my daughter and it is different and fun. we take it to restaurants with us to keep her busy at the table. The magnets are really strong and the game is fun for adults and kids.

I purchased two games to entertain 2 grand ones while dining out in a party of 11. Good food, high energy, high noise volume.
The grandchildren sat on opposite sides of the long table and couldn’t care less about the rules of the game or if anyone wanted to play against them. They were TOTALLY involved with the magic of magnetism and how things would move and were there any items on the table the magnets could pick up or hop onto.
Warning: be sure to ok it with parents that each child will not get the notion to put one in their mouth.
Be sure to count the number of magnets before putting the set away; we were missing two and they were easy to find on the restaurant floor because when they fell off the table, they bounced onto the metal base of the table pedestal and stayed!
I highly recommend these games and would get one per child if the money is available because a person can always combine two sets to make a decent game for multiple players. It’s cheaper than buying individual magnets and figuring out how to have them attract each other instead of repelling each other.
